Everything is fair in love and war?
I heard these words many times, but I don’t agree with them at all.
Mean what? That we can lie, cheat, hurt innocent people, just to get, what we want? That love justifies all? No way!
I love this psalm about true love from Book of Psalms from Holy Bible:
“”Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails… And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.”
It’s essence of true love. Where is although one word, that “all is fair in love”?
